Columbia University to use StatMonitr in 2015-16

NEW YORK, NY --

Columbia University will utilize the StatMonitr system to display real-time stats for media and staff throughout 2015-16, StatBroadcast announced today.

Columbia University is a private Ivy league university located in Upper Manhattan New York. Columbia is the oldest institution of higher learning in New York state, the fifth oldest in the United States, and one of the country's nine Colonial Colleges founded before the American Revolution. It was founded in 1754 as King's College by royal charter of George II of Great Britain. It is one of the most prestigious universities in the world. The Columbia Lions compete at the NCAA Division I FCS level as members of the Ivy League in 29 sports.

Columbia is the first member of the Ivy League to partner with StatBroadcast and the eighth from the state of New York.
